Who is eligible?

Any Emergency Medicine trainee registered with ACEM or RCEM.

What support is available?

The scholarship will support a trainee travelling from their home country, to the UK or Ireland in the case of an Australasian trainee, or to Australia or New Zealand in the case of a UK/Ireland trainee.  Travel must be for the purpose of furthering their Emergency Medicine training or career, for example to work in the other country, to undertake a training fellowship, a training course or to attend a relevant conference.

The scholarship will aim to cover a return economy airfare for the applicant.  Other expenses such as accommodation may be supported in some cases.

How to apply.

Applicants should write a letter setting out the proposed training activity, together with a brief CV and a letter of support from a Fellow of their parent Emergency Medicine college.

Scholarships will be awarded annually and the deadline for applications from each country will be published on both this site and the College websites.
